I am the owner and Administrator of my tree which contained 6,000 + people. I tried to add some information about him on my son's record but was told he was 'Not Known' Checking other people including myself I got the same result and not just for living people. I appear to have lost around 1000 people in this way. How do I get us all back in their rightful places. I have tried downloading a gedcom from Ancestry with everyone on it but still have have missing people and cant find anyway to correct this

Yes this is my original tree from January 2007. I have a De Luxe sub expiring on 30.11.2022.

Having failed to find a means of re-instating the 1000+ people missing from my tree I started another as Meadows,Smith,Cable,Boast intending to import a gedcom of my complete tree from Ancestry but can’t find the means. I would like my old tree back with all the detail on there.

We fixed the issue and reimported your gedcom file. It looks like Ancestry.com changed something in their GEDCOM which caused many names to not import. We have fixed this on our end
