Not enough generations on charts.

On the printable descendant charts, why does it say "Print up to 9 generations of descendants" but it never gives an option higher than 7? I have 10 generations of some families. The 7 is unusable for me because it doesn't show parents or spouses, so the maximum I'm able to use is 6 generations. The "showing spouses" is also unusable because it attaches one wrong parent to children. What we need are charts that show more generations along with "showing both parents" so the correct parents are attached.

If there are not enough generations in your family tree it will disable the larger charts. Try starting with a name higher or lower in the ancestry depending on the type of chart you are generating (descendant or ancestor)

I said I had 10 generations. How many does it need to give me a choice of 7 generations showing both parents? It's never shown more than 7 and I've generated many different charts with more than 7 gen's. I bought a $1,000 large format printer to print these. I'd like to buy two more tree sites to print more charts but I'm holding off because of the problems.

I forgot to add that I print from the oldest generation. I'm not so dumb that I would expect it to print 7 generations when there's only 5 or 6 available.

Can you give us the name of the person whose 9 gen descendants you are wishing to print?
